Just a few decades ago, robbing a bank was an achievable feat. A gang of bandits could hold up a cashier and not have to worry about CCTV or would have all weekend to drill through the wall and into the vault, and their only chance of being caught would be bumping into the local community policeman on his patrols. That’s certainly not the case these days with all the modern advances in security technology. Fear not, though, as PG Soft is going to show us how it’s done in their bank-robbing-themed game titled Wild Heist Cashout. It’s a medium volatility video slot with twin five-reel grids, featuring a maximum win of 2,500x and an RTP of 96.77%.
Upon first inspection, the slot grid would appear to be one single play area, but in fact, it is actually two separate grids comprised of five reels each. These two grids are split diagonally from the top right of the screen to the bottom left by a line of safe symbols. The thief acts as a wild symbol, dropping into the grid at random on any spin and moving either upwards or downwards after being involved in any win, depending on which grid he is on. Once he reaches the safe, the whole reel he is operating on will turn wild, and he will move off to another grid position. In conjunction with this mechanism, all winning cascades increase a multiplier value up to x5 in the base game, which is then applied to any win values achieved. Once the free spins feature is triggered, all multiplier values are doubled, and the Heist Thief wild symbol is active on every spin.
Do you fancy your chances of pulling off this daring raid and taking home the loot? You’d be wise to fully prepare first to ensure the best chance of a successful operation, so why not have a practice run on the Wild Heist Cashout demo slot? It’s available to play free of charge below!

The criminal masterminds over at PG Soft HQ would appear to have developed a taste for the finer things in life, having produced many slots themed around gold, treasure, and rare jewels. One such effort is Garuda Gems. It’s a six-reel, four-row video slot with an RTP of 96.77% and a potential maximum win of 20,000x. Will you be able to line up those shiny stones? Check out the demo to find out. Lots of ancient civilisations also tended to hoard valuable items as a display of wealth and power. The Aztecs were no exception, and you can try and take some goodies for yourself in Treasures of Aztec, a medium volatility Megaways style slot featuring a huge potential maximum win of 100,000x. Let's get back to bank robbing, though, for now, and find out what features and payouts can be won on Wild Heist Cashout.
We're over at the paytable, and the most valuable symbol is the Wild, which will return 2.5x your stake for each way of five symbols. Next, it’s the Gold Bars and the Red Ruby, both paying 0.5x. Following these are the five remaining premium symbols, which are the Watch, Cash, Necklace, Ring, and Coins, which are all worth 0.25x. The commonly utilised A, K, Q, J, and 10 comprise the non-premium symbols, which will all pay 0.15x per way of five symbols. These values are fairly disappointing at first glance, but remember that there are two separate active grids, plenty of ways on offer, and a multiplier aspect to improve them.
Delving into the stake options on Wild Heist Cashout, we can see that there are a lot to choose from. These start from as low as €0.20, rising to as high as €100.00, with a good selection of options between. With so many available for players to pick from, both low and high rollers should easily find a bet comparable to their balance.
Wild Heist Cashout operates on two separate five-reel grids, with the first set in a 5-4-3-2-1 formation and the second laid out in a 1-2-3-4-5 set-up, with a total of 240 payways available. There is no need to worry about fixed paylines, as matching a minimum of three corresponding symbols from left to right commencing from the leftmost reel on the first grid and right to left commencing on the rightmost reel on the second grid will result in a win. The cascading reels system is also utilised, with any symbols that are involved in a win being removed from the grid, which then creates additional space for further symbols to drop in from the top of each grid, offering the opportunity for multiple wins and cascades to take place within a single game round.
During any spin, a Heist Thief symbol may appear on the reels in any position. If this wild symbol is involved in a winning combination, it will move either one position upwards if it is located on the left-sided grid or one position downwards if it is located on the right-sided grid. If the Heist Thief symbol reaches any vault symbol positions, all symbols on the same reel as that vault will become wild on both grids. The Heist Thief symbol will then jump to a randomly selected grid position and continue to perform its function.
At the start of any main game spin, the multiplier values displayed at the top of the screen will be set at x1, x2, x3, and x5. The multiplier value will begin at x1, and after any winning cascade, it will move up to the next increment, finally reaching x5, which is the maximum value and the one that any subsequent wins during that spin will be multiplied by. Any win values achieved will be multiplied by the value of the multiplier at the time they occurred. After each spin, the multiplier value will be reset to x1.
Three scatter symbols landing on the grid during any one spin will trigger the free spins feature, awarding eight spins. Any additional scatter symbols above the required three will award an extra two starting spins.
At the start of the bonus, the multiplier values displayed above the reels will be increased to x2, x4, x6, and x10. The Heist Thief symbol is added to the grid on the first spin and will remain active for the duration of the bonus. Any +1 symbol that appears will award one additional free spin.
Of the hundreds of slot games I’ve played in my time, I’ve never encountered one set up in this manner, so it's great to see some innovation from PG Soft. The combination of the double grid, left-to-right and right-to-left payways, Heist Thief symbol, and multiplier makes for some very engaging gameplay, and the free spins feature builds even further upon this success. My only slight negative is the very low symbol pay values, although this is mitigated somewhat by the multipliers and the ease of achieving wins thanks to the double grids, wilds and pay ways.
